In digital era, there is a paradigm shift in the teaching-learning methods and the ICT system is being considered to be better and more effective than the conventional system and hence it has been followed in the top institutions in India. In order to have a SWOT analysis of use of ICT in teaching and learning, a comprehensive study was carried out in the Haryana state of India in Universities and Colleges (Technical, Non-technical (Traditional) and colleges of education) using a descriptive survey research design. This study investigated the availability and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities by Teacher Educators for making their teaching and learning effective in educational institutions.
